A pair of Regency mahogany hall chairs with C-scroll carved backs centering a painted family crest rondel depicting a fist of arrows, over incised plank seats and on reeded tapering legs.

An unusually designed pair of George III green painted square-back open armchairs, the pierced backs decorated with quiver and arrow motif, over caned seats and on tapering square legs.  Now with loose cusion seats.  Paint refreshed.

An extraordinary pair of 19th c. giltwood klismos armchairs with ebonized owl-form arm supports.  Most probably supplied to Adrian Hope, son of Thomas Hope, by Alexander Roos for the Carlton Gardens residence.

A pair of George III giltwood shield-back armchairs with a shell-carved crest rail above a padded back and seat and with foliate carved arms, raised on tapering leaf carved legs.  
Provenance:  The Collection of Hugh Grant and Lucie Mackey Grant.

A fine pair of early Regency black painted and parcel gilt open armchairs with caned back panels, scrolled arm terminals, caned seats with loose cushions and sabre legs.

A very fine pair of Regency mahogany cane-filled bergeres with reeded frames, paneled crest rails above boldly scrolled arm terminals and standing on tapering modified sabre legs.

A pair of Anglo-Indian ivory-veneered side chairs, Vizagapatam, based on patterns from Thomas Chippendale's 1762 Gentleman and Cabinet-Maker's Director (plate 16); engraved on all four sides with scrolling foliage and flowers, the shaped toprail above a pierced interlaced splat with a pair of fantastical beasts,  on square legs joined by H-stretchers.  Provenance:  Bought from Childs of Boston at the Winter Antiques Show, New York circa 1976.

 A pair of Empire cream painted and parcel gilt bergeres with reeded backs and serpentine fluted supports, on a panelled seat-rail carved with laurel, on fluted legs and scroll feet.
