Kentshire's reputation is based on sixty years of dealing in fine antiques. Every item is fully described on our invoice and guaranteed to be as described.

3. Can I receive an item on approval?
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. You may take the opportunity to see an item in your home before making a final decision. We will invoice you and require payment. Upon receipt of an item on approval, you will have 10 days to make your decision and notify us. If you decide to return the item, we will refund the full purchase price.

We ship to clients all over the world and are happy to assist you with packing and shipping arrangements and custom clearances.

6. What is the size of your entire inventory?
Kentshire has one of the largest, if not the largest, inventories of fine English antiques to be found anywhere. The thousands of items in our diverse collection are attractively displayed in room-settings throughout our eight gallery floors. More important than the size, is the quality of our inventory. Each object is carefully selected and epitomizes the best in design and workmanship.

7. How often do you receive new merchandise?
We add new items to our inventory and post a representative number of them on our web site on an almost daily basis. It often takes many months to receive an item after we have purchased it, so that we may have the object you are searching for, even if it is not yet on our site or in the gallery. Give us a call with your particular needs.

8. Do you buy furniture and accessories from individuals?
We are always interested in new acquisitions. Many of our things are purchased privately. If you have something you want to sell, please contact us via email. Photographs of the item on offer are helpful.

We are happy to send you a detailed condition report on any item on our site. As further assurance, we can arrange for you to see an item in your home before making a final decision. (See answer to question 2, above.)

10. Do you carry only English antique furniture and accessories?
Our collection includes all that one would expect to find in a grand English country home. Over generations a family would have accumulated, in addition to English furniture: Continental furniture; souvenirs of the Grand Tour; Chinese export furniture and decorative objects; as well as Anglo-Indian or Colonial furniture and objects.
